In May 2007, New Zealand and Ireland hosted two side-events at the Subsidiary Body meetings of the UNFCCC. These events were well attended and offered an opportunity to share experience in research on greenhouse gases from agriculture and land use. The first event covered greenhouse gases from animal agriculture and the second event focussed on emissions from land use including croplands, grasslands and forestry.
